I had this guy come into the emergency room and his feet were NASTY! Not homeless, not poverty stricken. Started with athletes foot he did not care to treat. His feet were oozing with blisters and scabs, it was nasty. He came in screaming at us to hurry up and take him back. “Yall can’t see it’s serious?!” I’m thinking…If there was a way to prevent it…wait lol CVS, Walmart, Target, any pharmacy carries medication for athlete’s foot. He could’ve prevented it from getting to that point. When I talked about waiting over a week to get seen for vaginal discharge…same thing. Why wait til the condition is very bad to get issues treated? Then, when seeking care, you’re threatening the staff and want to see management because you neglected yourself? Make it make sense.
